LM Studio

To use AI models from LM Studio in Store Manager, you need to connect Store Manager for PrestaShop to your local LM Studio server.

Before you register the add-on, make sure that: 

• Store Manager for PrestaShop is installed. If you do not have it yet, download it here:  https://www.prestashopmanager.com/free-download/ 

• Store Manager is connected to your store database. If it is not, follow the QuickStart Guide to set up the database connection. 

Register the Local Server (LM Studio, Ollama) for PrestaShop Add-on 

To use LM Studio AI models in Store Manager, register the add-on first. 

1. In Store Manager, press F12 to open Preferences.

2. Go to the Addons tab.

3. Find Local Server (LM Studio, Ollama) for PrestaShop in the list.

4. Click Unregistered next to the add-on name.

5. In the registration window, enter your add-on license key in the [License Key*] field. 

6. Click Ok.

7. Make sure the status next to the add-on name has changed to Registered.

Set Up LM Studio as a Local AI Server 

Follow these steps to install LM Studio, download a model, start the local server, and connect it to Store Manager for PrestaShop. 

Important: Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for LM Studio and the model you plan to use. 

Important: eMagicOne does not resell or charge for the use of LM Studio or any AI models installed locally. You can find LM Studio and available models at https://lmstudio.ai/ 

Step 1. Install LM Studio and Download an AI Model

1. Download LM Studio from the official website: https://lmstudio.ai/ 

2. Run the installer and complete the installation. 

3. Launch LM Studio.  

4. If LM Studio prompts you to download a model, click [Download "model name"] and wait for the download to finish. Then go to Step 2. 

5. If you were not prompted, open the model search and find the model you want (see screenshot). 

6. Download the model and wait for the download to finish. 

Step 2. Load the Model and Start the Local Server 

7. In LM Studio, open the Developer tab. 

8. Click Load Model. 

9. Select one of the downloaded models (see screenshot). 

10. Start the local server (see screenshot). 

11. Copy the server URL displayed in LM Studio (see screenshot). 

Important: Keep the LM Studio server running while using the model in Store Manager.

Step 3. Configure the Connection in Store Manager 

12. Open Store Manager and go to Preferences > AI.

13. In the Text Generation section, open the Provider drop-down list and select Local Server (LM Studio, Ollama). 

14. Paste the copied URL into the Base URL field. 

15. Add /v1 at the end of the URL. For example, if the URL is http://127.0.0.1:1234, the result should be http://127.0.0.1:1234/v1 (see screenshot). 

15. Switch back to LM Studio. Keep the Preferences window in Store Manager open. 

16. In LM Studio, click the copy icon next to the model name (see screenshot). 

17. Switch back to the Preferences > AI window in Store Manager. 

18. Paste the copied model name into the Model field (see screenshot). 

19. If your LM Studio server requires an API key, enter it in the LM Studio/Ollama field in the API Keys section. Otherwise, leave this field empty. A local model does not require an API key by default. 

20. Click [OK]. 

All is set! Now you can try it out: select a few products, choose one of the default prompts or create your own, and generate the text. 

How to Use AI Models from LM Studio in Store Manager 

To use LM Studio models in Store Manager, make sure that LM Studio is running with at least one loaded model, and that the add-on is registered and configured as described above. 

Important: eMagicOne does not provide support for LM Studio or for any models used with it. 

To generate product content, follow these steps: 

1. Make sure the add-on is registered, LM Studio is running with a loaded model, and Store Manager is connected to it. 

2. Open Store Manager. 

3. Check or update your prompts. Go to AI > PromptBook and find the prompt you need, or create a new one. 

4. Open the products list and select a few products you want to apply the prompt to. 

5. Click AI > Products. 

6. In the opened window, select the prompt you want to use and check that the selected products are listed. 

7. Click Run to send the request to the LM Studio model. 

8. Wait until the content is generated. You can track the status in AI > Tasks queue. 

9. In Tasks queue, review the generated results and make sure they are correct.  

Note: No changes are applied to your products at this stage. 

10. If you are satisfied with the results, use one of the following actions: 

1. • Apply changes: applies the changes one by one. 

   • Apply all: applies all generated changes at once. 

   • Restart: use it if tasks stopped or were not completed. 

Important: Once applied, changes cannot be undone. Review the results carefully before applying them.

You can now try other prompts and run more tasks with AI.
